In The Studio, New Recordings on the Way.

Here's a little Christmas Surprise- I'm working with friend and neighbor Sam Johnson in a slick little recording studio in the South Burlington Arts District.

I tracked a new tune last night, tentatively called "Get This Going". We're also planning to tackle "Phantom Compositions", an older tune of mine that's never found its home in a recording.

Make sure to sign up to receive free mp3's of these new songs when they're available. Or you could pay for them in the iTunes store... Your choice.

Until next time..

One of my assignments during the Music Success in Nine Week Challenge was to post some music up on the PodSafe directory. This is a big repository of music that people who make podcasts can safely use without worrying about copyright or royalties. In exchange for posting my music up for free, I get free publicity when someone plays my song.

I didn't think much of it at the time.

Much to my surprise, my song Take it Away has been played on a (really cool and eclectic) podcast called Way Past Bedtime with Gustav Bertha. I listened to the whole epside and enjoyed all of his selections- especially the Banjo Tango that comes right after my track. Thanks Gustav!

Ethan Waldman's Space

Like an acoustic version of Radiohead collaborating with John Lennon.

Ethan Waldman plays an eclectic blend of folk and rock, with a touch of the psychedelic 60's, the luscious sounds of stringed instruments, and a classic songwriting style.
